Founding Principal
At Desert Crescent Preparatory Academy, we believe that strong schools begin with strong leadership. We are honored to have Dr. Christine McGee serving as our founding Principal.
Dr. McGee brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including 13 years as a classroom teacher and over 7 years in educational leadership as an instructional coach, interventionist, and principal. Throughout her career, she has been committed to creating schools where students are academically challenged, spiritually nurtured, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Dr. McGee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction. Her expertise includes instructional leadership, school improvement, curriculum development, teacher coaching, student achievement, restorative practices, and building positive school cultures.
As Principal, Dr. McGee is passionate about partnering with families to provide an exceptional educational experience rooted in academic excellence and Islamic values. She believes every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they are inspired to become lifelong learners, compassionate leaders, and individuals of strong faith and character.
